Hi Salvio, as promised here is my COI; First I need to admit a COI; I have signed up initially (4th July 2011) to create a user page for an organisation that has been going since 1904, which I now work at. Using the same Open Access model that Wikipedia follows, my job will be editing a new journal which will be published online providing free and current science to users of the internet, worldwide (as opposed to the traditional print and subscription-based model). We have had some brilliant scientists who have volunteered for the organisation over the past 100 years and understand the importance of collaborating with other fields of science to improve research in this highly connected age of the internet. As well as the Sciences my interests lie firmly in the Arts, and I hope to be able to make valid contributions to any photography and arts based articles.

I have searched where I thought I may be able to find the page under discussion in our messages, I am afraid I can't find it? CBethanH (talk) 12:22, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your COI admission is very good indeed and here's your userpagr: User:CBethanH/Association of Applied Biologists. Happy editing! Salvio Let's talk about it! 13:08, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Salvio that's great. I have found some of the prominent scientists that have kindly given their time to the Assocation have Wikipedia pages. I have tried to link their names to the corresponding pages in a whole manner of ways and had no luck. Please can you show me? CBethanH (talk) 14:25, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. To correctly insert wikilinks into an article, you just have to use [[ and ]]; for instance [[Cat]] appears as Cat.

And free of charge, here's a help page containing everything you need to know about wiki markup  . Salvio Let's talk about it! 15:49, 5 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your subpage and google

edit

Hi Claire. Don't worry about Google. It will catch up and start posting the right page.

Consider blanking your subpage or adding this: {{db-author}} at the top of it. That will tell an administrator to delete the page. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:58, 13 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

These are the two pages I mean: User:CBethanH/Association of Applied Biologists and User talk:CBethanH/Association of Applied Biologists, NOT the article: Association of Applied Biologists. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 14:03, 13 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Got it, thanks so much :) CBethanH (talk) 14:06, 13 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
