The article Dre Rich Kidd has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable per WP:MUSBIO, WP:NGRIDIRON or WP:ANYBIO/WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 19:10, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

...I need to ask you this direct question:

Are you paid for your editing on Wikipedia by the companies you write about, or any companies associated with them?

If so, you need to be aware of this:

The Wikimedia Foundation Terms of Use (which is our Terms of Use, since we've never adopted another one), says:

Paid contributions without disclosure

These Terms of Use prohibit engaging in deceptive activities, including misrepresentation of affiliation, impersonation, and fraud. As part of these obligations, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. You must make that disclosure in at least one of the following ways:

  • a statement on your user page,
  • a statement on the talk page accompanying any paid contributions, or
  • a statement in the edit summary accompanying any paid contributions.

Applicable law, or community and Foundation policies and guidelines, such as those addressing conflicts of interest, may further limit paid contributions or require more detailed disclosure.

A Wikimedia Project community may adopt an alternative paid contribution disclosure policy. If a Project adopts an alternative disclosure policy, you may comply with that policy instead of the requirements in this section when contributing to that Project. An alternative paid contribution policy will only supersede these requirements if it is approved by the relevant Project community and listed in the alternative disclosure policy page.

For more information, please read our FAQ on disclosure of paid contributions.

We reserve the right to exercise our enforcement discretion with respect to the above terms.

If you are a paid editor, you must comply with these terms, as well as with our English Wikipedia-specific policy on editing with a conflict of interest. This is not a matter for debate, it's part of the contract you agree to by editing here.

So, again, a direct answer please: do you get paid for editing here? BMK (talk) 20:55, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

NO

paid to edit wiki? NO. i wish i was getting paid but no CEOBryantR (talk) 21:00, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you're not getting "paid to edit" because you're the CEO of a record label and you're here to generate publicity for your label's artists, that falls under WP:FINANCIALCOI and is equally inappropriate. If this is the case, please restrict your edits to those listed at WP:COIADVICE in future. --McGeddon (talk) 21:09, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
User:McGeddon and User:Beyond My Ken Here is the editor's statement that he works for a major record label and that his job is to get their artists (including Dre Rich Kidd) onto Wikipedia: [1] Meters (talk) 21:14, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Meters: looks pretty cut and dried to me

i work at a major record label and just signed up 2-3 days ago to get our artists on Wikipedia

Seems like CEOBR's "No" above directly contradicts what he wrote at the Help Desk. BMK (talk) 21:58, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

BMK please stfu and get a life. i'm pretty sure you're not getting paid to be a wikipedia cop.. i dont get paid to do anything. our artists were told they cannot write articles about themselves, someone else has to do it. which is me. stop the racists and help support our young black artists. Universal Music Group}} i see why google started the knowledge graph. instead of you guys helping, you rather talk shit and criticize others. and got THE AUDACITY to try and sell items at https://store.wikimedia.org/ hahaha. ban me :)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Favonian (talk) 13:44, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
