Thanks @Rob13 Durant attended UNR- that information is available all over the net, I have included some the sources, in this last revision. In addition I realize that Wikipedia isn't a reliable source for citations, I was just directing people to their Wiki page, as the UNLV ref did, I have written several articles on Durant for my sportsblog, and am very familiar with his circumstances. Would love to work together to ensure the correct information is entered, as you suggested. I am not sure if this is the correct way to respond, wiki's all new to me - please bare with me. Thanks. The best place to discuss details specific to an article is on its talk page, which you can either find by going to the article and clicking "Talk" in the upper left corner of the screen, or by searching for the page "Talk:ARTICLE NAME", where you put the name of the article where I wrote "ARTICLE NAME". So for instance, Talk:Lemar Durant is where we should discuss details related to this article. When you want to link to a Wikipedia article, you can do this by typing the name of the article in brackets, like [[Lemar Durant]], which would look like Lemar Durant if not for some nowiki tags that I included so you could see what you need to type. The actual reference tags should only be used for citations. To create more detailed citations, see Help:Referencing for beginners, especially the part on using refToolbar. refToolbar will give you a simple graphical interface to produce a detailed citation. This is useful in case the website URL changes. Without a detailed citation that includes things like the article name and date, a changed URL would mean the reference would become meaningless. CFL editing

Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm always glad to see a new editor interested in one of my main editing areas - Canadian football. You may be interested in joining the Canadian Football WikiProject. If you need anything at all or have any questions, feel free to reply here or on my talk page. I'm watching your talk page, so if you reply here, I'll get a notification of it. As a few general tips:

• Some of the first things you should read as a new editor include: WP:N, WP:V, WP:NPOV, and WP:OR. These are the main content guidelines of Wikipedia, and apply to all Wikipedia articles. The general gist of them is to only create articles on subjects that have substantial coverage in reliable sources (notability), all information on Wikipedia should be supported by citations especially when making any controversial or contested statements (verifiability), try to maintain a neutral tone in all articles (neutral point-of-view), and only include what's reported in reliable sources rather than your own research (no original research).
• Specific to Canadian football, you'll probably want to read WP:NGRIDIRON, which is a specific notability guideline related to gridiron football. The gist of this is that if a player has played in a single regular season or post-season CFL game, they're presumed notable.
• Specific to biographies, you'll want to read WP:BLP, which is Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living people. The main idea there is that biographies of living people require extra care due to legal concerns. They should be carefully sourced and neutral.
• Try to leave an edit summary every time you make an edit, so other editors can easily tell what your edit was for. You can do this in the little box right above the submit button on a regular browser. Even if you make a small spelling change, it's a good idea to leave a summary. In that case, it could just be "spelling" or "copyedit", for instance.

You absolutely don't need to read those all at once (or even in their entirety at all), but glancing at the lead sections before you dive in is a very good idea. You should also be prepared to read bits of policy if people link them to you, to make sure that you're aware of what they're saying regarding your edits.

Pictures of CFL players

Am I correct in thinking that you're located in Canada? If so, do you happen to be located near any of the teams? One thing that we're lacking in many player biographies is pictures of the players. If you have access to take any pictures that you could then offer under a free license for use on Wikipedia, that would be extremely helpful. • Specifically, I'm on the hunt for a free picture of Corbin Sharun, a recently acquired practice squad member of the Stamps. Please don't feel obligated to go out of your way to acquire pictures.
