Limbo supercentenarians
editHi. I'm probably asking this question wrong guy but why so many supercentenarians case come limbo, that there are no update over year or two so we wont know if person has passed away or is he/she still alive?. Like Sobayia Sarran who has been limbo over two years and there is no single mention that she has passed away. Or Elsie Ward, oldest person from St Lucia who has mention at her 110:th birthday but no any mention about 111:th birthday. So if person has passed away then why it has not mentioned at newspaper or something that we know that person has passed away so we don't have to expect that he/she is still alive?62.72.229.12 (talk) 17:55, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Year End Championships
editThere are event championships that happen at the end of the year, and there are "The Year End Championships." Huge difference! You seem to be confusing the two up at the Caroline Wozniacki career statistics. The secondary event at the end of the year is for players that don't make the cut for the official "Year-end Championship." By the way your editing pattern looks very similar to banned editor User:Ryoung122. I sure hope you aren't the same person. Fyunck(click) (talk) 19:33, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- Of cause I know the difference. It is not at the same level as a tournament but are several places put in the same category. In the section Statistical Information there are six categories. One of them are
- "... the year-end championships (the WTA Tour Championships and the Tournament of Champions), ..." marked with a yellow colour. Please tell me why it is wrong to think that the two tournaments are considered to be in the same category, when they are in the tables "Schedule" and "Titles won by player/nation" where Andrea Petkovic' win in Sofia are in that category ...? btw Your edit has messed up the count of finales without a proper correction and removed other useful information. And be careful with hasty accusations. CGT dk (talk) 01:57, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
- Let me be less accusatory and simply ask if you are the same person as Ryoung122? When readers look at the infobox and charts and see year-end championship totals, they correctly make the assumption they are the totals from the Official Year-End Championships... not the lesser tournament. If they get confused because the performance timeline seems to be a bit ambiguous with its categories, then we may need to look at that to make it less so. But we don't need to compound the problem.
