Speedy deletion nomination of Sweethearts (music group)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sweethearts (music group) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Dusti*Let's talk!* 07:47, 4 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Elizabeth II

Let me save you & your sandbox the trouble. We don't set a clock for the length of her reign & definitely not a clock for since her coronation. Besides her reign began on February 6, 1952. GoodDay (talk) 23:19, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

User:GoodDay Thanks for the guidance. I'm wondering why you are so adamant about not having a clock on her coronation, is there guidelines to help me with this? I'm mystified why you mentioned her reign. Did I inadvertently change something else? --Cairnsbythesea (talk) 23:45, 26 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

First of all we just don't do that. Secondly, why her coronations? that's not when her reign began. GoodDay (talk) 00:11, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
GoodDay help me out here - Saying "we just don't do that" is not helping me. Please link a discussion/guide on this. Secondly, as I have already inferred, I have not edited anything about when her reign began. --Cairnsbythesea (talk) 00:28, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps @DrKay: may help better explain it. GoodDay (talk) 00:35, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Infoboxes, infoboxes should be as simple and succinct as possible, and not introduce material that is not found elsewhere in the article. Per Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, material that is not found in multiple reliable secondary sources should not be included in articles. Trivial details do not belong in articles that are written in Wikipedia:Summary style. DrKay (talk) 08:22, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thankyou User:DrKayI understand the benefits of a consistent approach to content. It seems that I was overly keen to follow the "Birth date and age" formatting.Cairnsbythesea (talk) 09:05, 27 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
