Epsilon Chi

edit

Hello, my handle is Naraht. I'm a member of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Fraternities and Sororities. I'm an alumnus of Alpha Phi Omega in the USA and may be the single experienced user most knowledgable about Greek Letter Organizations in the Philippines. I know it can be difficult to get references for articles about fraternities and sororities in the Philippines.

A few points.

  • thank you for going through the AFC process. A new user generating an article from scratch and having it stay in mainspace is very difficult given the complexities of the process.
  • Ultimately, I expect the article, if successful, will end up under Epsilon Chi, but I'd keep going on the Draft:UP Epsilon Chi Fraternity version, it is further along. Name changes are easy to make as part of the approval process if approved.
  • Showing Notability. The Manila Times is not a bad place to pull references from, but it is difficult given the paywall to get significant information about them. Sources behind paywalls can be used, though Additionally, the first two by Mr. Vitancol are Opinion pieces, not news pieces. It is also unclear how much information about Epsilon Chi is in the article about the Epsilon Chi center. Other possibilities on where to pull info from include inquirer.net and rappler.
