Sam Haskins

I see you've started Sam Haskins. But a single noun phrase (not even a complete sentence) could surely be bettered. Could you perhaps write up an article for him? I can't, as I know little about him; Hiroh Kikai is an article about another living photographer that might indicate how you could proceed. -- Hoary 04:46, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your mail. I'd forgotten about Haskins. The deletion log tells me that someone other than myself deleted "Sam Haskins" (content was: '{{db-bio}}Five decades of trend setting and award winning photography [http://www.haskins.com]'). Well, that doesn't identify the decades, the trends, the awards or the genre(s) of photography, so I wouldn't argue with the deletion -- although technically the reason for deletion would have been lack of a response to the "db-bio" template (applied by a fourth user). I'm delighted to hear that you're working on a much longer and better replacement for the article, and look forward to reading it. -- Hoary 04:17, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Cowboy Kate cvr.jpg

Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image.
