USA National Records (swimming)

edit

FYI: The folks at USA Swimming are aware that the July 2009 update they loaded only contains the LCM records. There were (or are going) to update the post to one that includes LCM, SCM and SCY; which I thought they were going to do before Worlds (mid July). They apparently have not. And now they will probably wait until either later this month, or possibly next month to post another update. (This month, if they compile an update following Worlds and US Open, where most LCM records were bettered--mostly at the former; next month, if the committee that oversees the records waits until after its meeting in September to post an update.)   Hooperswim (talk) 03:48, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
