The article Stanley Park Mall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG. A WP:BEFORE search found routine information on bus routes or trivial mentions, 1, 2, 3, 4 but nothing that meets WP:SIGCOV.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. VickKiang (talk) 05:20, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- Completely forgot the sources. My fault, sorry about that. Getting it fixed now so it should be done by the end of the day today. CanadianBrick1 (talk) 14:42, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
Non notable rapid transit stops
editYou are hiding your head in the sand. You have been warned about the non-notability of these yet you are still creating these almost zero content articles. The consensus on the AfD is heading towards redirecting. Please cease & desist.TheLongTone (talk) 15:27, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- I would like to know how its non-notable. These are transit stations I'm not making a random page about a traffic cone CanadianBrick1 (talk) 17:48, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- The argument is that altho the transit systems are certainly notable in general the individual stops are not. The basis for this is firstly that none of your references are substantially about the individual stops; they are rather about the system, with mentions of the stops. So they are adequate in terms of confirming facts but not for establishing notability. It is also worth mentioning that the articles are pretty well devoid of content and there is certainly nothing that could not be incorporated in the article on the system in question. I'm not saying that no individual stops are notable, its simply that the majority will not be. Notability requires multiple independant sources. Have a look at WP:GNG.TheLongTone (talk) 13:12, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- These points have been coved in the relevant AfD, which I hope you have read.TheLongTone (talk) 13:15, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for the explanation. I guess stops like Hurdman and Greenboro would be notable. Would New Orchard, Sherbourne and Queensway ever get their own articles again once operations start? That'd be nice
- Anyway thank you, I'll try to make sure not to do that again and I'll wait until 2026 to make those pages I guess. CanadianBrick1 (talk) 16:26, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
