editGood bye corrupt Wikipedia, may I inform the world of your corrupt information.
May 2018
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, content you added to a Wikipedia article appears to be a minority or fringe viewpoint, and appears to have given undue weight to this minority viewpoint, and has been reverted. To maintain a neutral point of view, an idea that is not broadly supported by scholarship in its field must not be given undue weight in an article about a mainstream idea. Feel free to use the article's talk page to discuss this, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jingiby (talk) 11:08, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Justinian I. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:14, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Jingiby (talk) 17:53, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Why are you leaving?
editWhat's upset you and making you call Wikipedia "corrupt"? If you'll allow me, I'd like to try and help you... let met know :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:56, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
@Oshwah: he says his professors call it corrupt, which seems a bit unlikely but not impossible, as many academics run Wikipedia projects with their students. But he identifies as Macedonian and basically he doesn't like, at the very least, the word "Greek" and has been trying to remove it from articles, for instance Cleopatra's. and even removed edits from talk pages he doesn't like. If you can help him understand that this behavior won't help him, perhaps he could become a constructive editor. Doug Weller talk 18:19, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- He's also probably frustrated because he hasn't red WP:VERIFY and WP:RS, and has been trying to use a wikibook writen by an amateur and I don't think ever published plus a pdf that doesn't seem to have been reliably published. Doug Weller talk 18:26, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- Doug Weller - That's too bad... I hope the user decides to come back and talk to us. These are issues that are easy to resolve; he just needs to be shown a few tutorials and given some assistance is all... ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 18:29, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Oshwah and Doug Weller: Balkan editors in their early days feel somehow confused, as they face with realities not present in their national narratives. Most of them stop editing, reflect, and return. Time will tell if this is the case with this editor. If they want to accept the reality whatever it be and edit in a constructive manner, they are welcome and everybody will listen to them. Otherwise, they are encouraged to find other occupations as Wikipedia is not their thing. Cheers, Ktrimi991 (talk) 19:20, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
