Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, CapitalofIsrael=TelAviv, does not meet our username policy.
Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, appear to represent a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account. However, you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. TheSandDoctor Talk 05:06, 19 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I didn't make an edit, only a suggestion on a Talk Page, which was my sole purpose in making my account and the inspiration for the username. The international consensus isn't changed by the radical shift of the current administration in D.C. and their strong-arming of a tiny fraction of thw world's nations (most of this minority has little relationship with Israel) in exchange for diplomatic support. But that's not even what I asked. I made explicit my satisfaction with the footnote that the admin added (though the article remains misleading. see Britannica). I find the irony unsurprising: a politically-charged website already protected by locking pages to prevent "vandalism," rewrites history without so much as a footnote, would target someone who peaceably offers even minor, reasoned critique, projecting onto them their own intolerance for truth and the mere presence of opinions—however legitimate—if these are dissenting from...whose?(idk, simply. not questioning transparency). Would Brownshirt be a username more soothing to and aligned with your extemely-sensitive taste? I feel nothing but pity for whoever thinks they won here; what could one gain in exchange for their dignity and independent thought that could be worth acting as a thug or other lapdog, ossified by a false sense of certainty and self-righteous. Intentionaly or not, can their conscience and cognitive dissonance be edited into a fantasy world in the service of Power as readily as a Wikipedia article? I simply wanted my dissent on record, even if it had not been acknowledged. This was probably too much to expect from a site where no context is needed for Venezuela to have 2 presidents. • Excuse my rant. Ijust saw email in bed, half-asleep, already angry about something unrelated. Being unfamiliar with how this works or what/who protested the username. i interpreted it as asking if I want to defend the username but not to whom, and through appeal, as in judgment already made, and burden of evidence on me to challenge incredibly vague accusation, which seemed absurd before I even saw the "specific" protest after I'd responded. As it made no difference, I'll leave my rant above as I still agree with the jist of it.

Not to worry. I'm not going to defend it, wasting our time comparing the relative "political-ness" of usernames, like some kind of obscenity trial, especially without finer-delineated definitions to start from. It wouldn't help anyone who believes they can achieve or even know objective meaning without bias, including in selection—what's included or left out, e.g., econo/historico/sociopolitical/legal context in the case of the article)...nor those who subscribe to the philosophy of censoring what u disagree with or don't like to hear. Feel free to erase anything I've said as well.

[Forrest Gump voice] And that's all I have to say about that. CapitalofIsrael=TelAviv (talk) 13:09, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
