editYour recent edit to Sunset Marquis Hotel was not constructive. It was in violation of the WP:3RR and was reverted. If you want to experiment or make a test edit, please use the sandbox. These pages are patrolled by robots and human editors like me. When you make an edit please leave an accurate edit summary, and not a misleading one. Further vandalism and violation of the WP:3RR will get you blocked from editing. Administrators can block you without further warning. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 03:13, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- I have reported your violation of WP:3RR to Wikipedia Administrators Noticeboard Edit Warring. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 03:37, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hello Capo689, you really should stop reverting this article until you can get advice from more experienced contributors. If you keep insisting on your version, you will simply be blocked from editing. That is unlikely to help you achieve your goals for this article. To us, your recent edits appear to be naive promotional editing. You probably have a lot of information that we don't have, and you might consider offering your suggestions at Talk:Sunset Marquis Hotel. Please ask for advice. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 04:38, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Have "copied 'n' pasted" the following, posted on my Talk page
Please stop reverting the Sunset Marquis page to the old data... that stuff is simply not correct. The info was all verified as correct and posted in order to correct these mistakes. Appreciate your help in this. --Capo689 (talk) 02:01, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

So there is no mistake, here is an excerpt from WP:3RR:
<block quote> Editors who engage in edit warring are liable to be blocked from editing to prevent further disruption. While any edit warring may lead to sanctions, there is a bright-line rule called the three-revert rule (3RR), the violation of which often leads to a block. The three-revert rule states:
A "page" means any page on Wikipedia, including talk and project space. A "revert" means any edit (or administrative action) that reverses the actions of other editors, in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material. It can involve as little as one word. A series of consecutive saved revert edits by one user with no intervening edits by another user counts as one revert.
The three-revert rule applies per person, not per account; reverts made by multiple accounts operated by one editor count together. Editors violating 3RR will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident. Even without a 3RR violation, an administrator may still act if they believe a user's behavior constitutes edit warring, and any user may report edit-warring with or without 3RR being breached. The rule is not an entitlement to revert a page a specific number of times. [Emphasis added] </block quote>
You've been warned. Edit warring will get you blocked. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:07, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
I had warned you here on 28 November that you could be blocked for edit warring. You previously violated the WP:3RR rule on this article, as documented at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RRArchive201#User:Capo689 reported by User:7&6=thirteen (Result:No action.) There was a pause in your activities, but now you've resumed the war. Due to your apparent real-world connection to the subject of the article, it is best if you limit your activities to the article's talk page. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 22:51, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
