Township Nav Boxes
editThanks for your work on Township nav boxes for Mahoning, Stark, Summit and Trumbull Counties, in Ohio. However, I would suggest / argue strongly in favor of making Nav Boxes for the whole county (i.e. all cities, villages, townships, and census-designated places) and not just townships.
For examples of two styles of county nav boxes, see Northumberland County, Pennsylvania and Alameda County, California. I prefer the former style. There is a discussion on this starting at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. counties if you are interested. Yours, Ruhrfisch 03:30, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply. The nav boxes do repeat information (as do info boxes), but I think it is useful to have the info in both places. For longer articles, the nav box comes at the bottom and so it is not as obvious that the info is repeated. The PA County nav boxes are also on every city, borough, township, and census-designated place article for that county, so even though they duplicate the info on the county page, they do not duplicate it on the other pages. I would also list all the Townships on each Ohio county article (not all Ohio Counties do yet). Thanks, Ruhrfisch 04:12, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- The Summit County, Ohio nav box looks nice - thanks. I put one on Hancock County, Ohio and the articles for all cities, villages and townships but I can't find the county seal (so I used the Ohio seal). Ruhrfisch 17:37, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
435 Info
editIt would have connected 43 in Sandy to 5 outside of Ravenna. I see you've worked on some articles in the Stark Co. area. If you have interest in urban planning try to get a copy of the book I got the highway plan from, it's available from Akron's Bierce Library.--UltraSkuzzi 16:04, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- About US 30, I think I read in the repository that the whole US 30 freeway plan has been scrapped. What disturbs me more about the 1985 plan is how US 62 was never converted to limited access, that thing is a nightmare.
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
