Fichtelberg Railway

Thanks, Bermicourt, seems a newer version of the German article is in the pipeline of de:User:Rolf-Dresden, I'll give it another make-over once that's done. There are a few other narow gauge, saxon related articles that I'm about to get into, in the end I wanna bring over the excellent de:Sächsische Schmalspurbahnen (Narrow gauge railways in Saxony) article. Before that, I'd wanna give the Berlin Friedrichstrasse railway station a go, I had a request for that.

In the meantime, could I ask you to have a look at how the info box of Fichtelberg Railway and the Thumer Netz are done? I'd like to put a image on the image tag (some articles have the area map there), the area map (with a larger context) into the map tag, with the BS track map immediately following. I think we could use some consensus how those info boxes should look like, and maybe you could put a RFC on the task force page: to discuss what these should look like as a guidance for editors, and find a consensus before we all go off into different directions. Battle Of Hastings, And Franks

Were the Franks ever in Geyer, Germany? I would think they were. What are the Royal Frankish Annals (CE 772), and who were the Franks? During the Saxon wars between England and France, during the battle of Hastings which is one of the more historically violent battles in my estimation, the Normans won. What year it occurred and the more specific details of the Battle of Hastings are becoming fascinating because it is just not that interesting. Because the Franks were not at all involved in that fight.

As it is said, The Battle of Hastings (14 October 1066) was the decisive Norman victory in the Norman Conquest of England. I'm more than interested in knowing where the Franks were during 1066. Who was the Visigoth and what do the Visigoths have to do with the Moorish people and their governing? Because the Visigoth is mentioned as a Frankish ruler. Wikipedia Campus Ambassador needed

Hi! My name is Annie Lin - I'm the Campus Team Coordinator at the Wikimedia Foundation. I'm contacting you because you're listed as a resident of San Francisco, and we're currently looking for a friendly Wikipedian to teach students in a University of San Francisco class how to use/edit Wikipedia. This is a role titled the "Wikipedia Campus Ambassador," and you'll basically be doing in-class presentations about Wikipedia, running Wikipedia labs/workshops, and in general providing face-to-face Wikipedia help for the professor and the students in the class. The time commitment is about 3-5 hours a week (with variations throughout the semester), and for this particular University of San Francisco class, most of the workload will be between March and May.
