Welcome and apologies

edit

Hi, welcome to wikipedia. Firstly let me apologise for the poor response you've received so far to your attempts to remove the site from wikipedia. Let me assure you that wikipedia does take copyrights and copyright violations seriously, including not linking to external sites which violate copyrights. I have removed the site from the article. In future, if you have problems and don't get a response on the talk page you can e-mail wikipedia as outlined in the earlier article or ask for help at Wikipedia:Editor assistance/Requests. I also note that you have previously edited the article other then removing the link to the copyright violating material. As such, I suggest you also read WP:COI. As mentioned there, it is generally frowned upon for people with a strong conflict of interest to make changes to articles other then a few specific cases. Instead you are welcome to propose such changes on the talk page. On a final note, if you have problems with people adding controversial material about Dawud Wharnsby, you are welcome to seek feedback at WP:BLP/N Nil Einne (talk) 07:51, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

How you can help

Peace, My apologies as well about the Dawud Wharnsby article. No Mp3 songs are admitted here! The closest we can come are very short sound bites to show the kind of performer the musician in question sounds like. Unfortunately, there are both advantages and disadvantages to our somewhat anacharistic approach to editing, and far more new young editors who feel ready to create without reading any guidelines here, or asking questions. If there is anything I can do to assist you, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Are there others who you represent that should be watched here? It would be helpful to know and try to guard against any plagiarism, if it's the case. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 18:29, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
