Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Liberty in the DG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Ignatzmicetalk 13:35, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Dani's Castle episodes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jordan Brown (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Copy/pasting content

edit

Hi, please don't copy/paste content into Wikipedia as you did at Strange Hill High. While some use of copyrighted content is allowable per fair use rules, we cannot base large portions of our content on other source's copyrighted works. I am referring to these edits where you appear to have introduced content lifted directly from [1]. Plot summaries need to be fundamentally re-written in our own voices. Thank you. Reliable sources

edit

Hi, with regard to these edits and these, which you've obviously made with good intentions, please note that IMDb is not a reliable source, because it is user-contributed. User contributed sites, like Wikipedia, or Wikia or discussion forums, or IMDb or TV.com, cannot be used as sources. Wikipedia is not in any hurry to have up-to-the-minute facts, and the community prefers that editors wait for reliable sources, rather than submit information from questionable sources. We are not a breaking news site. Hope that helps. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:48, 17 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

edit

This is your final warning, the next time you add copyrighted content at Wikipedia, as you appear to have done in these edits at Strange Hill High, your account may be blocked. Plot summaries must be written in our own words, not copy/pasted from other sources. Wikipedia has no deadline. It is preferred that the information be correct, and added with integrity, rather than hastily assembled from lifted content. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:02, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

August 2014

edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Strange Hill High. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diff: [2] Future events must be sourced per WP:CRYSTAL. You have previously been warned to not submit content without adequate sourcing. If you do not know how to submit references, watch the video at Referencing for Beginners. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:41, 17 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for copyright violations after final warning: Diff of Big School (TV series). If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Diannaa (talk) 01:06, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Cartman810 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I should be unblocked because my edit for Big School (TV Series) did not seem anything like copyright and if it did to you lot, I did try my best to put it into my own words. cartman112 (talk) 19:50, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

That's nowhere near good enough. You need to understand the advice given at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive852#Cartman810 and the copyright policy and undertake to clean up any remaining problems with your edits before being unblocked. MER-C 02:55, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The edit in question: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Big_School_(TV_series)&diff=623339866&oldid=623336063

  • User added: "Mr Church and Miss Postern's relationship has taken a downward turn after a misunderstanding over a date during the summer holidays." and "When everyone returns to school, Miss Postern sets up a careers workshop and her slogan "Which Way Now?" seems to apply to her as much as it does to the students."
Found here, "Miss Postern (Catherine Tate) and Mr Church’s (David Walliams) relationship has taken a downward turn after a misunderstanding over a date..." and "When Miss Postern sets up a careers workshop, it seems her slogan ‘Which way now?’ applies as much to her as it does her pupils..." See also the BBC episode description.
  • User added: "It's Miss Postern's birthday and she is upset when everyone forgets." "But the arrival of a new teacher, changes everything and puts her day into a different light." "Mr Church and Mr Gunn hear this news and are not happy about it."
Found here "It's Miss Postern's birthday and she is upset when everyone forgets." and here "her day soon perks up with the arrival of Dr. Dalton, the new geography teacher." "Mr Gunn and Mr Church are both unimpressed with the new arrival.".

The latter example seems less egregious, but there is still blatant copy/pasting and close paraphrasing. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:47, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
