Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Radha Stirling. Thank you. Sungodtemple a tcg fan!!1!11!! (talk) 12:38, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Sungodtemple a tcg fan!!1!11!! (talk). I did assume good faith. However please can you do so? The notice at the top of the article asked for citations and headings. Btoh were provided, then you undid that work in what appears to be bad faith. Also there is an issue with some joker deleting "fair use" licensed images from Wiki Commons. Can we focus on stopping that behaviour? — Preceding unsigned comment added by CatJon1 (talk • contribs) 12:48, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- That 'joker' was me. Looking at the policy commons:Fair use, we see that fair use files are not allowed on Wikimedia Commons. They must be uploaded to Wikipedia locally, and be marked as Fair Use, per the EW fair use policy. This is why I marked the images for speedy deletion.
- For the edits, you did partially solve the problems, but there was a lot of cruft, or unnecessary detail. It's similar to adding all sorts of population, land area, etc. stats to the United States article so that they take up the entire page. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, no one cares about excessively detailed population stats! The appropriate policy is Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. The edits you made did add citations, but also added too much detail. Another thing is the external links. Way too many there. See Wikipedia:LINKSTOAVOID. And, of course, make sure to keep a neutral point of view, which you did not with statements like "British property tycoon hailed as one of Dubai's most successful entrepreneurs".
- Sorry if this sounds harsh, but the edits you made were not really reliably sourced, and they added other problems as well.
- And also, tips for the talk page: Please sign your comments like this:

Edit warring
editYou currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Radha Stirling. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Melcous (talk) 12:56, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
- Other editors agree. Tradeze for example. Please stop Melcous et al from their edit warring— Preceding unsigned comment added by CatJon1 (talk • contribs) 13:01, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
