Speedy deletion nomination of UCI Health – Fountain Valley

edit

Hello Catfurball,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged UCI Health – Fountain Valley for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

DYK for Florida Hospital Oceanside

edit

On 2 July 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Florida Hospital Oceanside, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Florida Hospital Oceanside was demolished after being damaged by Hurricane Irma? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Florida Hospital Oceanside. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Florida Hospital Oceanside), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Vilas Zoo animals section

edit

Several months ago I started to add the animals and exhibits to that section in Henry Vilas Zoo (before I created an account and was still editing as an IP address), which you removed. Your edit summary said "sloppy", but it was in process and I intended to finish it. Since then, the section has been finished. Cyber the tiger (talk) 21:19, 9 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

AFDs

edit

Hello, Catfurball,

Please participate more thoughtfully in AFD discussions and offer a more substantial rationale for an outcome than a "per nom" comment that doesn't show that you have read, much less analyzed, the article being discussed. Please read WP:PERNOMINATOR for guidance on this. I know, as an AFD closer, I just ignore "per nom" remarks because they don't contribute anything to discussing why an article should be Kept, Deleted or Merged. So, unless you are going to engage and review the article and its sourcing and offer a policy-based opinion, it's kind of a waste of your time to spend offering "per nom" comments since they are, by and large, dismissed by discussion closers. But I welcome your continued participation if you are going to invest some time and effort into the process. Liz Read! Talk! 23:48, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Airport Codes

edit

Hi there! I noticed you've been changing airport code formatting in hospital infoboxes. Is there a reason you think this is a better format? The templates you are removing are specifically indicated for use by the hospital infobox template guidelines ("Template:Airport codes with p=n; leave blank if unknown or not verifiable"). I wanted to check for your input before reverting anything - I think it's important to keep these consistent for the hospital wikiproject. Thank you! Mangocove (talk) 17:00, 28 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Why yes I do consider SkyVector to be much better, since they have a page on the heliports. And also they have another page with a very interesting map, that people would be interested in looking at. Now SkyVector only does heliports in the United States registered with the FAA.

Tagging pages for deletion

edit

Hello, Catfurball,

I was looking at some categories you tagged for speedy deletion, like Category:Unreferenced cryptozoology articles, and noticed that you didn't post a notification on the category creator's User talk page. Please use Twinkle when you tag pages for any type of deletion. Go into Twinkle Preferences and check off the boxes for "Notify page creator" and for all of the CSD boxes that are present. If you don't want to use Twinkle, then please post your own notifications on content creator's talk pages when you tag a page for deletion, whether it is for CSD, PROD or AFD/RFD/CFD/etc.. Thank you.
