- Thank you for the welcome Johnuniq! A lot of my edits have been IP based due to forgetting to log in, but I'm trying to use this account more. I have a background in Linux and computer networking and am a regular at Freenode's ##networking. My edits here are often based on questions arising from that channel. I've not edited Wikipedia too much yet, but I hope my edits appear to have been well received so far.
- Good! You will, of course, run into people who are not keen of the opinions of others, and who can be quite obnoxious. Don't worry when that happens—it takes all kinds. By the way we are supposed to sign comments on talk pages and noticeboards. You can insert your signature above by adding a space then four tildes (~~~~) at the end of the last line (after "so far."). When previewing the edit the four tildes are shown as a signature.
