Survey

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Concentration of media ownership

Hello Cc. I'm also editing this article for class. I noticed you removed some information from the lead paragraph concerning freedom of the press and editorial independence. I know this information wasn't cited, but I left it in as I thought it was relevant to the topic. I also added some subheadings with this information in mind. As it stands now, the lead paragraph is pretty short and doesn't really outline what the article entails (although at times the article doesn't have a cohesive flow, I know). Do you think it would be beneficial, at least for now, to revert that edit as it describes (albeit quite shallowly and broadly) what is contained in the rest of the article? I know it wasn't cited, but I thought its inclusion might trigger someone to add something more that better describes the article. Thoughts?--Btgard (talk) 20:40, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
