Finding an article

edit

To find a good article to edit, check WikiProject Mass spectrometry, especially sections on articles by quality and importance: Wikipedia:WikiProject Mass spectrometry#Assessment; and articles by popularity: Wikipedia:WikiProject Mass spectrometry#Popular pages. There is also a tool that you can use to sort articles, for example Stub[1]and Start[2] class. Remember the goal is to move an article up two quality units: nothing to Start, Stub to C, or Start to B. --Kkmurray (talk) 02:47, 19 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Topic#1. Field Desorption (Article: a. Field Desorption Mass Spectrometry by H.D. &key and H.-R. Schulten; b. Field ionization and field desorption mass spectrometry: past, present, and future; c, Principles of Field Ionization and Field Desorption Mass Spectrometry by H. D. Beckey, R. Belcher and H. Frieser; d. Field desorption mass spectrometry: A technique for the study of thermally unstable substances of low volatility by H.D. Beckey; e. Field Desorption by Erwin W. Müller) For this topic, it has a main page on wikipedia, but it is rated as a stub class and can be improved.

Topic#2. Plasma Desorption ionization For this topic, it does not have a main aritcle on wikipedia and it is simply introduced under "Ion source". A new page might be created for this topic.

Topic#3. Desorption Ionization on Silicon (Article: Insights into Desorption Ionization on Silicon (DIOS) by Jin Li and R. H. Lipson) For this topic, it is a stub class article on wikipedia, and there are only background and application on this topic. There are a lots can be improved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdong7 (talkcontribs)

Field desorption - Stub to C; plasma desorption ionization formerly a Stub [3] to C; desorption/ionization on silicon - Stub to C. Any of these will be fine. --Kkmurray (talk) 20:51, 13 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Field desorption, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Qualitative analysis. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
