Spain funding

edit

"The plunder of the empires of the Americas allowed Spain to finance religious persecution in Europe for over a century. Spanish wars of conquest included laying waste much of the Netherlands and three disastrous attempts to invade England, in 1588, 1596 and 1597."

Completely partial and meaningless affirmation. And if you put the results of the funding put both the achievements and the disasters. But not just a part. In the same way it does not make much sense in this article to speak about the religious wars in Europe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.132.125.25 (talk) 16:05, 21 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that you recently removed content from Conquistador without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —MelbourneStartalk 11:00, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Spanish Empire, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Additionally, you continue to add unreferenced material to said article. Please ensure that you always reference the material you add to Wikipedia, by citing reliable sources.MelbourneStartalk 11:31, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
