Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Expertwikiguy per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Expertwikiguy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 14:28, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am not a sockpoppet of Expertwikiguy. However, Denhorror was me and after creating account, I forgot my password, so I had to create a new one. This is the only reason. You can see on Denhorror history page that I was not able to do any edits after the first day of edits. I am so sorry for this. I also was paid to create page for Ecoflow, which I disclosed per policy and submitted via AFC and it got accepted, but now I see that it was deleted. Why would you delete it, if someone accepted in AFC??? this is not fair to them and if it was approved already by another admin from AFC, why delete it??? they are a super notable company. Also what evidence do you have that links me to this other sock??? CentralAuthorization (talk) 07:59, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I do not believe that you are being entirely frank with us. You've acknowledged that Denharror was you, but I am convinced that was not your first account here; I am therefore not able to accept this unblock request. Girth Summit (blether) 11:23, 21 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • I'm not going to go into detail beyond what I wrote in the SPI, but other CUs should look at my notes in cuwiki. I will say that the pattern of access I saw does indeed support the theory of a forgotten password to the Denhorror account. But there's still the issue of a number of other accounts over the past couple of months which are almost certainly related here, even if it doesn't go all the way back to Expertwikiguy. -- RoySmith (talk) 13:13, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
To address your comment about Ecoflow, looking at the deleted revisions of Ecoflow, I see no evidence that an admin approved it. Either way, an article getting accepted via the WP:AFC process doesn't guarantee that the article won't be nominated for deletion some time later. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:28, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
