Section B

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Section B, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.thegcr.org.uk/ImageBank.cfm?v=24&Style=All. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:33, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Section B. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Proposed deletion of Section B

edit

The article Section B has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced article & highly contentious content.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. E. Fokker (talk) 21:21, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Section B for deletion

edit

A discussion has begun about whether the article Section B, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Section B until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. E. Fokker (talk) 19:57, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, per my edit summary, I have moved the internal links to a section called "See also" - the is consistent with the layout manual of style which indicates this is the correct way to include internal links rather than merging the internal and external links. I hope this is satisfactory. Camw (talk) 12:00, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes - thankyou. I will go away and have a lie down now! Centre Stand (talk) 12:28, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

No problem, don't let it stress you out too much! Not sure if you are already aware or interested, but there is a project dedicated to football - Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football - the talk page there is a good spot to get a third opinion on any issues or get help with any questions related to football articles. Feel free to leave me a note at my talk page or the project page if you need anything. Camw (talk) 12:38, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Looks interesting, might consider coming on board - thanks for for your help again. Centre Stand (talk) 12:53, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes I'm aware. No idea how that will go. Im trying to work on it in my userspace. The problem is he has never played in a Fully pro league so he must meet WP:GNG to have an article. As yet I'm not sure either way but will try to continue working on it in the next few days.Edinburgh Wanderer 18:54, 3 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Airdrie Promotion

edit

As the BBC says[1] the SPL have told them they will try and form SPL2, cant see it happening quick enough without them delaying the season. Think the promotions will happen but we should wait until the SFA officially Ratify todays decision and Dundee or Dunfermline resign. Keep an eye on it we will know more once the SPL meet on Monday or the SFA speak out.

With regards to Airdrie thats no problem, my aim when i find time will be to get it up to the same standard as i got Livingston, I've been distracted lately but will come back to it. If you ever need anything done just ask. You would never realise from most of my edits but I'm a Hearts fan with a soft spot for Airdrie and Livingston. But as i say i edit all Scottish football.Edinburgh Wanderer 21:15, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Airdrie

edit

Just to let you know this is the new name for Edinburgh Wanderer, same account different name. I had noticed they had changed the name on the site, did they make an announcement. Also have they announced a new home kit yet, i asked to get the away and third kit made but couldn't see a new home kit.B S 14:54, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ive changed the logo for you as that has clearly changed. I have to agree with JM on this though yes Airdrie have changed the logo and lead to just Airdrie they never actually announced anything and i cant see it covered anywhere. If its published that they have changed the name then the move request would most likely be uncontroversial but at the moment im not sure there is enough grounds for a name change. Airdrie F.C. would need to be moved probably to Airdrie FC Disambiguation and Airdrie United move to Airdrie but as Jm says it would need to go through a RM as pottentially controversial and you would need an admin to clear the page. Up to you whether to try an RM or wait and for sources.Blethering Scot 00:16, 31 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
Oh and yes the abbreviation wasn't meant to be interpreted said way but as they say you're not the only one so I've changed it. My old name was always shortened to EW so i had shortened the sig which i automatically did with the new one but less hassle this way.Blethering Scot 00:22, 31 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Airdrie United F.C., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Morton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Season pages

edit

You may have noticed that i have not created 2013–14 Airdrieonians F.C. season. The main reason is regretfully i feel i cant commit to updating 42 season articles every week so have decided to only do two or three max myself this year. If you would like to take updating a season page on i would be more than happy to create a base article for you as i have done for a few others. Blethering Scot 19:39, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
