It's been more than a year, and I'm still scarred by this content removal. Every day, when I'm lying in bed, I see spirits of ClueBot, chanting, "Your recent edits to Motu Patlu have been undone", it drives me to tears every time. I hope you're happy. I hope you're fucking happy. I'm gonna find you. I'm gonna find you and KILL you. I'm not joking. Cereally8 (talk) 06:54, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

License tagging for File:Glitch Productions Logo.jpeg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Glitch Productions Logo.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Glitch Productions Cut & Paste

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Glitch Productions a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Glitch Productions. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. The Coffin of Andy and Leyley: unhelpful edits

edit

Please do not put Template:Refideas at the top of the article. It makes it less readable. Per the template's page "[t]his template should be put on talk pages". I had already formatted those links into citations and placed them in the Further reading section. Please either leave them as they are, or use them in the development of the article.

Furthermore, please don't add a section with nothing in it, as you did in this edit. If you wish to add a new section, please write prose for that section.

Thank you. — Toast for Teddy (talk) 05:45, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Cereally8, I meant to reply earlier to your edit summary (dont think it needs references if it is part of a section that links to an article with references at the top as a main article, but okay): a reference is needed for each article. An article can't use another article for its sourcing (see WP:REFLOOP). Hope this helps. Happy editing! soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 09:39, 12 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
