editHi! You appear to be running a course in Wikipedia, but I don't see any indication that you have followed the steps outlined here. You appear to have no edits whatsoever to mainspace here, so it's hard to imagine how you could have sufficient knowledge of our policy and practice to lead students through it. Two of them at least (Manofredda and Brina95) have copied content from our page on Language policy and then submitted that as a draft for review. That is, obviously, a completely pointless exercise and a waste of the precious time of AfC reviewers and other volunteers. Could you please explain what you are trying to achieve, and where you reached consensus with other editors that it was both helpful and acceptable? - @Justlettersandnumbers: Thank you for your message. I am the Wikipedia main trainer of the seminary, as written in the course page (Cferranti manages contacts between University and tutors), and another wikipedian, Baldersdod, is operating as a online tutor for assisting students. Let me explain that this is a small part of a bigger project we are leading in the Wikipedia in Italian, fully supported by the community. The same university has many other courses running with Wikipedia we take care, but it's the first year we add some courses in English. I haven't still created a dashboard (even if I've created some of them in the past) because it's not mandatory, but if needed I can do of course. The page Wikipedia:GLAM/UNIPD/English Global Language was created because we always create a project page in Italian for the course, as an instrument to cooordinate students and to communicate with the community what we are doing. The page in English was created using Wikipedia:GLAM/PoliMi/2018 as a model. We often suggest students, at first, to copy some content from an existing article to their sandbox to experience on formatting text and adding references (generally we suggest to use an article related to the course subject), and we also explain that citing the source page in the edit summary is mandatory. Which of you has explained to the students that copying content from a Wikipedia article and then submitting it for review as a draft is a completely pointless exercise and a waste of the precious time of AfC reviewers and other volunteers?
