Proposed deletion of IoT driven Compliance
editThe article IoT driven Compliance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unsourced essay.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Acroterion (talk) 04:26, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

editHello Chakrab. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Chakrab. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Chakrab|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. S0091 (talk) 13:41, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- It is not a paid writing and I am not a paid writer. Intuition AI is a budding technology and is getting traction in the industry. However, I may have to wait further for it to be cheered a bit more by the major industry players. This AI takes an epistemological approach and it iterates learning from human experience where data is limited and not available (in all these cases the Machine Learning is helpless). High end scholars are very much involved in the development and proving of this AI. 2600:1700:1C04:9310:8C24:6F4E:BFF9:587E (talk) 13:46, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- You don't need to be being paid directly to write to have a conflict of interest. Are you affiliated in any way with Senslytics? AntiDionysius (talk) 13:51, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, I am. Does it bar me from writing about this technology? That will be unfair. 2600:1700:1C04:9310:8C24:6F4E:BFF9:587E (talk) 13:53, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- Please read Wikipedia's policies on conflict of interest and advertising/promotion. The idea is that articles should come from a neutral point of view and be intended to inform rather than promote; those two goals are both seriously compromised when people with close ties to and direct financial interest in a topic are allowed to write about it. AntiDionysius (talk) 14:01, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying; I understand that wiki wants to believe the word of a journalist rather than a scientist. There are those articles that are being written about this technology as well. 2600:1700:1C04:9310:C530:D229:D11D:6E36 (talk) 04:57, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- Those articles are useful as sources, for sure. But two articles is probably not enough to base a Wikipedia entry on, and the entry would still really need to be written by someone with more distance from the company. AntiDionysius (talk) 09:52, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
