Hey

Do you currently go to JMU? I am a student there as well. Nice to meet you. Would you be interested in supporting a Wikipedia/Creative Commons esque student group in the coming year? Sadads (talk) 13:54, 12 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

2011 Virginia earthquake aftershocks

edit

Hi... Just wanted to let you know, I removed your addition to the article about the most recent aftershock. There was discussion about what to have in the aftershock section - at first the article was listing every one! It was decided only to say that there were 'several' and to list the strongest. If we included 'the most recent', we'd be stuck updating it every time there was a shock. Thanks for the edit, though! Just wanted to let you know. Cheers! ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
