Hi ChazNuttycombe! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, ChazNuttycombe. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page CNalysis, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. FifthFive (talk) 01:52, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Didn't see this til' I submitted my draft, that's understandable I guess, just saw people talking about a potential Wiki page on me and didn't realize there wasn't one on here. I'll just ask someone else if they'd like to submit something I guess, assuming the draft is not submittable. ChazNuttycombe (talk) 02:07, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's strongly discouraged, but allowed, to write content about yourself (or anything w/ a potential COI). Those pages also has more information on the notability guidelines, referencing, etc. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask at the teahouse (which will be checked more often than here). Happy editing, FifthFive (talk) 02:17, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
