Hi Chem171article, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is in response to the following question you left on User talk:Smileguy91:
I am in the process of uploading my wiki article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnesium_Ions_in_DNA_Polymerase:_Two-Metal_Ion_Mechanism, and I read that it is subject to speedy deletion. How may I change it so that the article will be fine? I need to upload this as it is a requirement for my college chemistry class final project.
Thanks!
In response:
- The speedy deletion was declined, though it will probably be re-nominated soon,
- May I ask for what course you need to write a Wikipedia article? Is this course registered with the education program? What institution, what professor? Can you tell us your professor's email address and/or have him or her email education lists.wikimedia.org?
Thanks, --L235 (t / c / ping in reply) 01:44, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Magnesium Ions in DNA Polymerase: Two-Metal Ion Mechanism
editThe article Magnesium Ions in DNA Polymerase: Two-Metal Ion Mechanism has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Reads like an essay more than an article, and was sated by the user to be a project for a class so it could also be userfied if needbe.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TheMesquitobuzz 04:24, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
