full-protection: To protect our page from random editors/vandalism. Chibanks (talk) 01:46, 26 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not done: requests for changes to the page protection level should be made at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection.
Also you do not own the page, anyone is free to edit it, and pages are not protected preemptively. Plus full protection will prevent you from editing the page as well. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 06:15, 26 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Chibanks. You have new messages at Chibanks's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

How do I protect the page so just an admin and I can edit? Correction, this is my page. I created it. I am the only person using this username. I'd like to protect it from vandalism if possible. Thank you. Chibanks (talk) 20:07, 26 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Correction to you: This is Wikipedia's page. It is yours to use within Wikipedia's guidelines. This is much akin to the credit cards you might carry. They belong to the bank that issued them and you are free to use them within the banks policies. Use them outside policy, and a merchant will pick them up so fast your head will spin. This is your talk page. Its sole purpose is so other editors can communicate with you. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. Working with other editors is not optional. Your user page, which you have yet to start, is for you to let other editors know about you and your Wikipedia related interests. Your user page is generally not edited by anyone but you, but you are still bound by Wikipedia policy on what you can have on it. Hope that clarifies things a little for you. Understandable. Thanks. Chibanks (talk) 21:58, 26 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Unless you put a bunch of promotional crap on it, it won't. BTW, the talkback templates that you are putting on this page? They are meant to go on the talk page of the editor to whom you are replying here. In other words, that last one should have been posted at User talk:Gtwfan52. I am going to leave you a link to a Q&A forum for new users. You can get your questions on how to edit answered there. It will be at the bottom of this page. Quick question

Hi Chibanks, I have a quick question for you. I was wondering if this account might be being used by more than one person? Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 13:16, 26 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
