Good article nomination
editHi! I wanted to check in with you about the Good Article nomination for the article apple maggot. Keep in mind that GA nominations can take a very long time to complete and the expectation is that you will remain on Wikipedia to fix any issues that the reviewer brings up. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to twelve months, to be honest. It's important that you are aware of this since you were the one who nominated the page. I recommend looking over the Good Article criteria to see if there's anything that needs to be fixed ahead of the review.
I'm not trying to discourage you or get you to remove the nomination (for what it's worth I think it has a good chance of passing), I just want to make sure that you're aware that this nomination comes with certain expectations of the person nominating the article.
