- @അദ്വൈതൻ These are statements given by domestic political parties, There may or may not be any way to track them by any concrete evidences other than word of mouth of the political leaders. Hence it makes more sense to keep them in "Domestic Reaction" section rather than in actual "Monetary Aid" or "Rehabilitation" section. Chin pin choo (talk) 16:43, 6 August 2024 (UTC)

This source may be a useful source

But the death toll in this source is incorrect (224 dead bodies + 189 body parts is equal to 413). What is your opinion about this source. Mysterious sounds.
editI think the mysterious sound section you added on Wayand Landslides in controversy section is not controversial at all.Also I think it’s not directly linked to Wayanad Land slides and therefore needed to be removed. Tmanthara (talk) 09:01, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

Origin of landslide

Per https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/kerala-wayanad-pm-modi-visit-relief-rehabilitation-review-rahul-gandhi-congress-2580104-2024-08-10, the landslide originated at the origin of Iruvanjippuzha. Can we add it to 2024 Wayanad landslides. Pachu Kannan (talk) 10:41, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- The second landslide diverted the Iruvazhinji River, resulting in flash floods and washing away the Chooralmala village. Approximately 400 families were stranded in Mundakkai and Attamala following the collapse of the only bridge connecting the settlements and Chooramala.[1]

- I just modified wording to "But later a landslide struck near the origin of Iruvanjippuzha river between village Punjirimattom and Mundakkai" as there have been contradictory information available about the same. Per https://www.thenewsminute.com/kerala/wayanad-landslides-two-more-body-parts-recovered-as-search-ops-enter-14th-day DNA test results of those buried in Puthumala may come out today. We can at least expect it tomorrow or next few days. We can also understand whether more than one body parts are of same person and we can decide if we need to decrease death toll. - yes, they did say so. But I don't think it has come out yet in media yet. We need to wait for couple of more days, I believe.
