AfD closure

Hi, regarding this AfD closure: I think it was a little premature, because it's in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2012 June 26, and so is still in the WP:AFD#Current discussions section. Also, when you put the {{oldafdfull}} on the talk page, the |date= should be the date of nomination, not of closure. Strictly speaking, you shouldn't have added a second {{oldafdfull}} but put extra parameters |date2= |result2= |page2= into the existing one (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Administrator instructions#Carrying out the AfD close; {{oldafdfull}} is an old name for {{Old AfD multi}}). Up to 10 sets of parameters may be used. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:05, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for expressing an interest, it was a week old, so at the time it seemed like the correct decision! Best, --Chip123456 (talk) 20:10, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
I agree with Redrose64. This was not a proper closure, especially as a non-admin. It should have been left open and, if there were still no additional !votes tomorrow, relisted for futher debate. I recommend you undo the close, otherwise I will DRV. Msnicki (talk) 23:41, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
I have relisted it - as there had been no discussion at all, if anything the consensus would be to delete (the nominator said delete, no one disagreed with that!). Realistically, it is a valid relisting candidate. As a rule, if an AfD discussion has no contributions, it should be relisted, and if necessary a second relisting would also be suitable. A bowl of strawberries for you!

I'm afraid my chatting today is not the best - suffering from high temperature and flu-like symptoms. Cheers. Denisarona (talk) 17:52, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Would you like to take Anderson? Dan653 (talk) 00:14, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Nevermind, decided to give to an instructor who has never had a student. Dan653 (talk) 00:47, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

FishingKing

Hi! I saw that FishingKing put a blocking template on an IP talk page here. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 22:54, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Not again! If he carries on doing that, he may see himself in trouble!.--Chip123456 (talk) 15:25, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Hey Chip! Please see the edit filter log and notice how this user put curse words in 3 times after the level 1 warning from ClueBot. I reinstated the action for this reason. Thanks, Electriccatfish2 (talk) 18:25, 21 June 2012 (UTC).
Please see FK's statement in regards to admins on his talk page. This could wind him up in trouble. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 19:20, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
FK loses, per WP:GODWIN. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:44, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Everybody loses per WP:WIN!--Chip123456 (talk) 19:48, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
I can't believe that he would post that......I'm not an admin! (I assume he as implying I was because he replaced my comment with this remark) --Chip123456 (talk) 19:25, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
I saw in my contribs history that he rollbacked my edits to his talk page. This could make him lose his RBK rights. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 19:30, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
No, not necessarily, he can remove messages from his talk page by other users, per WP:RBK.--Chip123456 (talk) 19:32, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, Electriccatfish2 (talk) 19:38, 21 June 2012 (UTC).

I would really like to thank you for filing the SPI case. I think that he should be blocked, but I didn't have any reason to request it, but you did it for me. Thanks! Electriccatfish2 (talk) 20:24, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Well, if it does turn out he is a sock, a block will be likely, possibly indefinite.--Chip123456 (talk) 20:34, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
In the 2 SPI cases that I have filed, all parties involved got indef. blocks, and this is almost certain, here too. He will also be dropped from the CVUA. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 20:42, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Oh yes, we can't have him there after this, even if the case comes back negative. It seems he may have taken a leaf out of Grizzly's book. --Chip123456 (talk) 20:44, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

I'll remove him now and let Riley know. Why is this case taking so long? My 2 were completed within 5 minutes. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 20:45, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Maybe it's me, because the last SPI I made took a while. Maybe the CheckUsers have a rush on! --Chip123456 (talk) 20:47, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Dan kicked him out. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 22:16, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Still no checkuser? Electriccatfish2 (talk) 17:52, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Huggle

Hi, I took you suggestion and downloaded (I think) the relevant software, added my name to the list and opened the special page. As i am basically computer-illiterate, I have one small problem:- How do I now access Huggle to continue patrolling for vandalism, etc.? Looking forward to your advice. Many thanks. Denisarona (talk) 13:16, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I thought I advised twinkle? Unfortunately, I don't use Huggle, so I have no idea! One think you could do is ask at WT:Huggle, ask user User talk: Morning277, an experience Huggle user or ask User talk:Gareth Griffith-Jones, another user. Alternatively, you could ask at WT:CVUA or read WP:HUGGLE. Hope this has helped!--Chip123456 (talk) 15:34, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
More... For more info on TW see WP:TW. It's really simple to report and warn vandals. Also to revert edits, not just vandalism.--Chip123456 (talk) 15:39, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

FishingKing

  • I am very sorry and I hope you aren't too annoyed with me. You have to understand i did a block template for a user out of desperation as nonadmin was coming. This ip like blanked a page every 30 secs. secondly I didn't say chip was a nazi I just said that admins are too bossy. Then too many people said don't use block templates, I got the idea on the first message! I didn't understand what soviet monster was at first but I now know, my brother who is the opposite to me and likes vandalising with our IP, he was using my account after so he could copy templates, turns out these templates were saying that a user was a lesbian and a cross-dresser. I have told my parents and he is banned from the pc, so I promise you this won't happen again. I have worked so hard for the CVU and anti-vandalism causes recently and to get my account punished for something I didn't do would be like friendly fire.
