I read somewhere that you can move pages if you've been a user for 4 or more days. But, I've been a user for 10 days and I can't move pages! Why is this? --Baby G. (talk to me) 01:43, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Baby G. Two conditions need to be filled, as far as I know: 1) user for four days, 2) ten edits (I think this means ten edits to mainspace, but I'm not sure). I hope that helps. What articles are you trying to move? Prince of Canada t | c 01:46, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- There aren't any specific pages I was trying to move, but no pages that I visited had the "move" tab at the top and I was wondering why. --Baby G. (talk to me) 01:49, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- Ah. Well, that should change. Cheers. Prince of Canada t | c 01:57, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Request for Rollback
editI'm sorry, but with just 22 edits I don't have enough to go on. Suggest use of WP:UNDO for the while. Again, apologies but we do need to see some experience before granting a relatively powerful tool that can cause upset if used incorrectly. Not a personal comment just that we need a bit more "evidence" as it were. Give it a week or so using that and hit me up on my talk page and I'll reconsider. Pedro : Chat 20:35, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- It's okay. I understand. --Baby G. (talk to me) 20:37, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Your rollback request
editHi! I regret that I must inform you that your request for the rollback permission has been denied. You can discover why by checking the archives at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Denied/October 2008#Baby G. SoxBot X (talk) 21:00, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

- Just got to love that bot! Sorry, it's just I prefer to personally advise rather than let a machine do it! As said, use UNDO and we can look again in a little while. I'll be happy to review for you. Pedro : Chat 22:04, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from File:TrickyStewart.jpg, without supplying the needed information. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's [[Talk:File:TrickyStewart.jpg|talk page]]. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. There is no source listed nor is there any author listed. As you are not the user who uploaded the image you still may be able to help.
- If you are the copyright owner please add the correct licensing information.
- If you are the photographer please send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
- If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the image meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the images information page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the image does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Soundvisions1 (talk) 03:26, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- The file's licensing is GFDL-self. Isn't that source information? Chocolate Bar 03:33, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
- Depending on what information is supplied and what the image is. For example File:CBM-July08-cover.jpg is also licensed as {{self}} with {{cc-by-3.0}} however it is unlikely the uploader is the copyright holder or the author/publisher. File:Cal Henderson.jpg says it is self made, says the author is the uploader and uses {{GFDL-self}}. In this case it does appear it is self made and there are no issues. File:Cal bears football coach jeff tedford.jpg shows the source as http://www.mybearterritory.com however there is no indication on the website that the images on it are {{GFDL}} or {{cc-by-3.0}}. The only reason I did not tag this as a {{db-copyvio}} is because the uploader claims they are the owner of the website, in which case they need to submit permission. The image in question, that you have removed the {{di-no source}} tags from two times now, is lacking any source or author information. Based on the users other uploads, which all come from various sources and are all uploaded via {{self}}, it is not possible to assert who may be the author or the source thusly one needs to be provided. Coraline
editBecause Coraline just redirected to Coraline (novella), the parentheses were not needed.--Cúchullain t/c 02:40, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- But there are other works called "Coraline". Chocolate Bar 02:44, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
