Hi Chrajohn,

Welcome to Wikipedia! Your five contributions to Wikipedia so far are intriguing, if not promising. I spotted you on African languages, adding a nice bit about Niger-Kordofanian. I'm frequently working in the corner on African linguistics myself, and it's always good to have more linguists around. Judging from your contributions, I thought you also might like the Countering Systemic Bias project, an effort to make Wikipedia's coverage more balanced. If you need any help, you can always contact me on my talk page. Happy editing! mark 22:13, 16 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hi Chris, you've been doing a lot of work lately! Did you notice my reply on Talk:Atlantic languages? mark 12:27, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I read it; thanks for the input! Haven't had enough energy over to week to work on this. (That large number of edits I did this week was just busy work I did while avoiding everything else I was supposed to be doing. Making redirects from Britannica's article names to ours, that sort of thing.) Getting back to it now. --Chris Johnson 22:35, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Great work on Atlantic and Ainu languages. Keep it up! - Mustafaa 23:19, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Angolan passport—sorry about that

edit

My deletion of the lead section from Angolan passport when I deleted my PROD template was unintentional. Thanks for restoring it. —Largo Plazo (talk) 15:37, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
