Chris's Suggestions

edit

As per Chris's e-mail: "[Chris] thought it would be very interesting to expand the internal monologue stub, or the gold digging page." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Si ego sum sapiens... (talkcontribs) 22:00, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Anna's Suggestions

edit

I have been looking into Nutrition Psychology (a.k.a. Nutritional Psychology or Psychology of Nutrition) and would like to edit the topic's stub found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutrition_psychology . I found an extensive list of references here: http://www.nutritional-psychology.org/resources/ that would be a good start towards researching. The references are sorted by relevant subtopics that we could also use as a guide for formatting our article.

I would also be open to Chris's suggestion of researching internal monologue - and being philosophically inclined find the topic of particular interest - but I think I would have to hear more of a case for gold digging to be convinced. Si ego sum sapiens... (talk) 22:19, 4 February 2016 (UT

I would be very interested in pursuing "Nutrition Psychology", health psychology is a very interesting topic. I am totally fine with dropping the "gold digging" stub.
OK, then I vote for Nutrition Psychology as our first choice and Internal Monologue as a backup. Si ego sum sapiens... (talk) 20:11, 5 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
I also think that "Nutrition Psychology" is a good first choice, health psychology is both interesting to me and usually has quite a bit of information to work with which is helpful. I do also think that "Internal Monologue" is intriguing so I would be up for pursuing that as well. I am with Anna that "gold digging" is of less interest to me and would need convincing. I agree that I would like "Nutrition Psychology" be our first choice, as it does interest me just a tad more than the "Internal Monologue". Amarinucci16 (talk) 04:42, 6 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dr. Council's comments on your choices

edit

Nutrition psychology sounds interesting. The Psychology Today article might lead to some credible sources. If you can find credible sources, this will be an important article because it has health implications. Internal monologue also sounds interesting. I have no idea whether there is a body of research on this topic. J.R. Council (talk) 05:30, 10 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
