Welcome

edit

Hi, I just replaced your user page in the user namespace as you had, for some reason, put it in the main namespace. Putting it there means it was an actual article, rather than being something about a particular user, and as such would probably have been deleted if it was felt you were not famous enough for an article. Anyway, welcome to Wikipedia and I hope you enjoy editing here.

You can learn more on the how to edit page. The naming conventions and style guide pages are also useful. There is a sandbox which you can use to experiment in. If you have any questions, see the help pages or add a question to the village pump.

If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted. Angela 18:50, 20 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Infosecpedia

Hi Chris, I would suggest leaving the redirect as it is possible people have made links to this externally, or bookmarked the page. Also, the page has been indexed by Google, so deleting the redirect would break Google's links. Changing links in user pages when you move a page is fine. Feel free to change the one in User talk:Angela/Archive7 if you want to, though if the redirect stays, it isn't actually necessary to do that. There are instructions on page moves at Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page if you need it. By the way, do you know why it was undeleted? Angela. 22:11, Feb 29, 2004 (UTC)
