Thanks
editThanks for the heads up on the vandalism of my user page. And if you think that I'm being a dick, please just email me or let know on my talk page; I saw the message on Hobson's talk page, but I really didn't know what specifically it referred to. Cheers --BaronLarf 23:16, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Oh. I meant to say "I know you think he's being a dick", not that you were. ill fix that.
- Lol. No problem, either way. :^) --BaronLarf 23:30, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Unblock my rotated IP!
edit69.19.14.31 is the IP I was assigned for the next indefinite period of time. I do not vandalize, and this makes me mad that I can't edit. Help me!
please!
- Yes you do.
- Done.--BaronLarf 03:40, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism to your talk page
editSince I'm not an admin, I'm afraid I can't go too much further than I already have. If you still feel there is an issue with the AOL user, request mediation or follow another protection route. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Nrbelex (talk) 19:37, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi! You tagged this as a PROD, since it was copied from a website. Fortunately, there is a faster route: you can tag it as a COPYVIO or tag it for speedy deletion. Here are some more tips on copyvios. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 20:29, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Revert
editOh darn, I hate it when that happens. Well, at least you know your page is watched. ;-) DGX 04:05, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Family Guy Prod
editWhy did you prod the Family Guy pages? I don't really understand why. Zig 03:55, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Even if all these Family Guy pages are deleted (EXTREMELY unlikely), people (like me) are going to bring them back. Please do not prod any more Family Guy episodes.- JustPhil 23:52, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah im probably not going to prod any more summaries... I'll just put
{{citation}}
: Empty citation (help) on them.

User No Notability
editNo! As someone who agrees with the position expressed by the userbox (my nomination was, then, contradictory to my personal beliefs), I'm disappointed in this display of injustice. Good luck in finding it, and I'll be stealing the userbox mentioned on that page. ;-)--Lkjhgfdsa 21:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hey there. I'm pretty sure no one broke policy to delete it. While I agree with the sentiment, I can see how that could be considered divisive. I think things seem to be going the way of eventually having userboxes out of the template space; I've made sure everything on my userpage has the code there. Also means nobody can change my boxes if they update the templates :) .:.Jareth.:. babelfish 07:36, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Thank you
editI'm really interested in getting to know more people who oppose notability - let me know how I can help! For great justice. 21:04, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

To VandalProof
editTo vandalproof moderators:
YOu may notice the unblock request on my talk page. allow me to explain. I am part of HughesNet, an intenet service that picks from a pool of IP addresses every time the router is unused for ten minutes (roughly). One night, an IP i received was banned due to another HughesNet user's vandalism. That is the purpose of the unblock request. I only intend to use VandalProof to stop vandalism, not cause it. Thank you for considering me to use your software. -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 04:29, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Your VandalProof Application
editDear Ccool2ax,
Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact with the new 1.2 version release it has even more power. As such we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that for security reasons, VandalProof's creator requires it's users to have made 250 edits to articles, which you have not. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again in the not too distant future. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. - Glen TC (Stollery) 10:34, 7 June 2006 (UTC) Bold text
You may like to show your involvment in this project with a userbox I've created and saved into my userspace for now. It's likely to change (and indeed you are most welcome to try and improve it), so it's probably best not to subst it for now. The code you need is {{User:Xyrael/Templates/User WikiProject Awareness}}; thanks for your continued interest in this project. --Xyrael T 21:24, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to the WP:1.0 Team!
editHi, and thank you for signing up for the Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team! I wanted to find out what areas interest you. A few possibilies:
- Right now we are busy trying to review Version 0.5 nominations, I'd like to get up to 500 articles approved for Version 0.5 by the end of the month. If you're interested, please sign up for the Review Team.
- In parallel with this, the Work via WikiProjects group (WVWP) is contacting all of the projects for a second time. This necessitates a major revamp of our information organisation, including the creation of a new summary list to keep track of things. We're asking projects to provide us with a list of their most important articles. The group worked with Oleg Alexandrove to adapt Mathbot so it can produce worklist information for the projects, so we are encouraging them to use that system. In just a few weeks, we've reached a point where almost 12,000 articles have been assessed with our scheme and tracked by the bot! If you're interested in WVWP, let me know and I can explain the details.
- If core topics are more your thing, we need someone to go through the Core Topics Supplement and assess the articles, as well as adding a template (to be written).
Although we have a lot of people signed up, there are only a handful of active people trying to do an immense amount of work, so I hope you can help. It is very worthwhile! Thanks, Walkerma 00:11, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back to me. The review process for V0.5 is very simple, it is simply one reviewer checking at two criteria:- importance and quality. Regarding quality, we can only look at things like quality of English, layout, appropriate use of references and pictures, and completeness. Completeness is just as well as you can judge - e.g. a bio on a writer should have a "Life" and a "Works" section of some length, and probably also "influence" or "legacy". If the article is on a core topic like "Physics" or "Animal", or a country/global city we will accept a much lower standard, typically a decent B-Class. If the article is something less important like 1 Ceres, we expect it to be at least A-Class. You can find a more thorough description here. Hope you can help us out, many thanks, Walkerma 04:57, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
To VandalProof mods (2)
editYou may notice that my Main edit count is just below 250. However, for the past year my ISP used a dynamic IP which caused many login problems and blocks (to my IP never this username). I made approximately 100 edits to the Main namespace then, bringing my edit count to 315. -- Chris is me (user/review/talk)
- I added my name to the VandalProof Talk page. I forgot to log in. -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 13:59, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to VandalProof!
editThank you for your interest in VandalProof, Ccool2ax! You have now been added to the list of authorized users, so if you haven't already, simply download and install VandalProof from our main page. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or any other moderator, or you can post a message on the discussion page. —Xyrael / 06:54, 10 July 2006 (UTC) 06:54, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedians against notability
editHi, thanks for the suggestion! I won't be joining this cat, though, as I generally don't like factions at Wikipedia, even if I agree with their arguments. Regards, Ziggurat 21:09, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- On a completely unrelated subject, I noticed your essay here and thought you might like to change "He attempted to bring down Seigenthaler by slandering him on a biography page he created". If I remember correctly, it was a joke edit that slipped through the cracks rather than a deliberate attempt at bringing Seigenthaler down. All the best! Ziggurat 21:12, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the suggestion! I put it on Wikipedia as a gimmick for people in my class to read the essay. I might take it down later since WP:NOT a free web host, but i guess its only 10k at most. -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 22:24, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi
editHello, I can see you are at Northwestern University right now, and like Apple computers! I logged off for you on the North Shore iMac in the Main Library basement. Make sure you log off next time!
What are you doing here? Are you a student? (write back on my talk page please) — The Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 23:27, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Uh im here as part of the CTD program. Thanks for logging me out! Yeah, I'm a Mac fanatic and use Wikipedia too much as well, -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 23:59, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Hey Mac, hope you weren't too late for your 7:00 thing. -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 00:22, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- lol, I got there in about one minute. Wow, running makes you tired. I ran back to the library, and the guy said the group left "a few minutes ago." — The Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 01:25, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
So, how are you? -- User:Mac_Davis
Decent. what up? -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 23:47, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'm here on Tuesday at 6:17 in the basement on North Shore. No body is here. Have you gone back home yet? I'd like to keep in contact with you, Driti, and Caroline. I'm leaving on Thursday, going to Florida. — The Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 23:20, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- I left on friday with everyone else... some might be back session 2 which started sunday though. 67.142.130.32 15:45, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
SORRY
editI hadn't intended to change the page so much, it was an accident. I did intend to make some minor changes, though, adding content rather than deleting it by: 1. Providing European and Japanese release dates, complete with little flags 2. Referring to the DVD format as "DVD-ROM" 3. Changing the genre to "third person action adventure"/"driving"/"sandbox"

North Shore
editSo, how have you been doing? I moved to Florida, and I'm going to be homeschooled this year! Through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln [1]. It should be awesome. What do you do on wikipedia btw?
- I just do wahtever. See my contribs for an exact rundown... i just edit what needs to be edited. I also vote on AFDs, hate Notability (that stupid essay!), and miscellaneous other stuffs. -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 00:13, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- What hate notability essay? Hey, guess what? I made my 3000th edit yesterday! Maybe I should go for adminship!? — The Mac Davis] ญƛ. 00:10, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Go for it! I can't guarantee that I'll support you (i have to look at your edits of course). The notability essay is an essay trying to limit what goes into this encyclopedia. See the talk page for arguments against. It has been rejected as policy twice, yet people still delete articles daily based on just this essay. -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 02:59, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

editUserPage
editHey, I'm working on your page right now. I really hate tables (GahhH!!)... but they are requisite for good user pages.
- Tell me what you think about it now. I just put in dumb filler stuff until you put what ever you want in places, like the body on the left, and the picture. I changed a lot of stuff, but its part of being bold. I deleted the section about you saying you are such a n00b, because it challenges your credability... generally bad. I formattted the "edit" part for your superbox, and right aligned what was left aligned. Fill it up and modify it how you like.
