Have you been here? Your User page hasn't been customized to your own liking. Anyway I came to cry to you. AFD IS EVIL!!! YOU'RE RIGHT!! Oh my god, why do we delete articles for "unencyclopaedic level of detail?" WTF??? So many more bad reasons! I guess I didn't care before I had... lost an article. He was like one of my own. *tear* Well it's not deleted yet, it still up, but it's doom looks near. All the Halo (video game series) weapons articles are being deleted. I think the MAC cannon is saved though. Some[Mac Davis] (talk)

A funny pic? It doesn't have to be funny. It could just be a picture of you, or something like AFD is Evil. Make something in photoshop... what could we make? I have Elements 2.0, I've never tried CS or CS 2 on my Mac. Do you know of any programs that will limit specific applications' access to the internet that are FREE? I only know of Little Snitch, but that costs money. I need one because all the good software now checks itself over the internet. — [Mac Davis] (talk)

Well, I mean more for the future, as in next year and beyond. I can't imagine what Bungie's gonna have on their security for Halo 2 PC. Really, I don't know. It seems like a keygen and disallowment of the program to use the internet should work. — [Mac Davis] (talk)

Windows Vista I hope is going to work on the new macs too, and Windows isn't going to put some kind of bug in it that won't let you run it on a mac. — [Mac Davis] (talk)

I don't understand what you want me to help with, but whatever it is I am sure I will. — [Mac Davis] (talk)

I saw your favorite movie is An Inconvenient Truth. We are currently discussing the factual basises of the movie here, at physicsforums. You may be interested. — [Mac Davis] (talk)

Primary sources tag on BC Sports Hall of Fame

edit

What kind of sources do you feel the article is missing? There is a link to the official site of the BC Sports Hall of Fame in the article, I can't think of any other primary sources for this article. Qutezuce 09:41, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Exactly. The page needs to be cited from secondary sources as well, other than the actual organization. -- Chris chat edits essays 13:33, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure why that would be desirable to have, and in any case, I'm not sure what secondary sources could be listed. Qutezuce 21:26, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

How's stuff goin? Get back to you on wikisocial, I'm short on time.

How can I alter monobook.js? I read about some customizations I can do and copy/paste, but I don't know how, can you explain? I tried checking several guides, I have no idea what they are talking about. — [Mac Davis] (talk) (Desk|Help me improve)

Thanks

edit

Thanks for the smile! I archived my talk page and then decided to go on a bit of a wikibreak, and it has been looking a bit empty (I guess I haven't been annoying people to the degree I normally do). All the best, Ziggurat 04:04, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

MySpace

edit

Instead of removing the chain bulletin section, dicuss on the talk page if it should go in the criticism section instead or be removed from the article. 149.135.25.175 13:35, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Don't tell me what to do. You didn't discuss adding the section. -- Chris chat edits essays 13:38, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is my version... Talk:MySpace/Temp:Myspaceaddictaust revisions. Please tell me here if you have any problems with it. btw I feel that I have been compromising. Myspaceaddictaust 12:21, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

  1. get rid of the top friends despair thing, or if you have to make it a one-sentence criticism (I agree that it should be tweaked a little.)
  2. Don't use MySpace International becuase that's not a well-publicized, important name (Disagree, it's the term used on the website.)
  3. censorship-blocking (Disagree, I've already compromised on this issue.)
  4. o surveys and chain bulleitins, since they aren't important. (Disagree, they are important and are a regular occurance on MySpace.)

Myspaceaddictaust 12:46, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand why you're making such a big deal out of this. Did you even look at my version? Myspaceaddictaust 13:49, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Of course I did. How else could I argue against you without doing so? -- Chris chat edits essays 13:51, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Did you look at it now? Myspaceaddictaust 13:53, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's identical to what it was the last time i looked at it. -- Chris chat edits essays 13:56, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
things to fix
  1. make the chain bullein section ONE SENTENCE in the bulletin section
  2. move the google deal thing to the History section
  3. Remove the top friends "despair among users" thing.
these coments are just to get a stable version out onto the page. Of course we will both continue to edit after unprotection. -- Chris chat edits essays 16:34, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Are you happy with my current version? Myspaceaddictaust 17:11, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The current one is decent if you meger the Google deal into the History section and change the "Tom Anderson is wroking on it" quote to "the Myspace Team is working on it". -- Chris chat edits essays 17:32, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't think the Google deal should be merged with the History section because it's in development and in progress so it's not really history. I think Tom deserves credit for that! Ohh and... [1] Myspaceaddictaust 17:39, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

thanks for joining WikiSocial. We'll keep the google section, but still remove the TOm reference in the "bulletin virus" section... he isn't the sole developer of MySpace, after all! Just replace it with "MySpace is working on fixing the problem". -- Chris chat edits essays 18:05, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Deal. Myspaceaddictaust 18:20, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok, are you happy with my current version now? Myspaceaddictaust 18:23, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

It works... so I'll submit it for an admin to put up and hopefully we'll be able to edit soon enough. -- Chris chat edits essays 18:35, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Chris, I don't think you know what you are talking about. You are just a kid. You have no degrees--nothing, kid! You so misunderstand the “No original research” policy. Chris, you are the one that wants to be “original” by mostly only deleting stuff here because you somehow think you are doing good. In fact, what you do has not even a grain of altruism in it. What I am saying isn’t POV, like blue is the best color or something. There isn’t even disagreement over my addition. It is fact. Hence, the policy you so misguidedly refer to doesn’t apply, kid. Stop deleting my facts, please! Plus, why do you just pick on certain people here? I mean the line right before mine is total opinion. Why didn't you delete it? Your thoughts about the DMV was quite insightful. I respect that, but it isn't the case on myspace. Sign up for a new account and see what I mean. Anyway, stop deleting my text. Add something to the world instead of only trashing.

Yeah. Myspaceaddictaust 14:34, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Do you have any problems with the current version of the MySpace article? If not, stop reverting it. Myspaceaddictaust 15:54, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Of course I do! Why do you get way with reverting but I have to disuss. I ccan't stand you! -- Chris chat edits essays 15:56, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

List the problems you have with the current version of the article. Myspaceaddictaust 15:59, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

no! I don't have to run edits by you! just look at the diff. no, we're not compromising and then you ignoring the compromise again. We're editing. now cut it out. -- Chris chat edits essays 16:00, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fine with me. I'll just keep reverting your changes! Myspaceaddictaust 16:05, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Good thing we have WP:3RR, which you've borken. TIme to block you, idiot! -- Chris chat edits essays 16:06, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Good thing I have a dynamic IP! And don't call an Australian an idiot. Show some respect. Myspaceaddictaust 16:09, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

You've just admitted intent to evade a block. Yay, you can now have all your IPs indefinitley locked! Sure to piss off your ISP. -- Chris chat edits essays 16:10, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

You can't do that. Myspaceaddictaust 16:12, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

When we see you, we'll bock you, until you stop... or until we lokc out your ISP. -- Chris chat edits essays 16:13, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

How would you be able to see me if I was anonymous? Myspaceaddictaust 16:16, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

WHOIS, edit pattern. If an IP is reverting like this, we can block them whether or not we know it's you. -- Chris chat edits essays 16:18, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

You can't do that. Myspaceaddictaust 16:21, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I can't block you, (i can whois you), but 1000 admins can. -- Chris chat edits essays 18:25, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I must intervene. Both of you, stop with the personal insults, and please stay more civil. Be mature. Whatever is wrong, discuss it on the talk page or an administrator will be on the case if one isn't already. I have seen that Myspaceaddictaust, who is suspected as being Pnatt, who is now on Wikisocial, has been blocked once, and the Myspace is now under lockage. Things have cooled down a bit. :) — [Mac Davis] (talk) (Desk|Help me improve)

Wow, I just love what happens to me when I'm pissed off. Sorry, Pnatt/Myspaceaddict/MySpacefreak/Footy/Whatever you call yourself today. -- Chris chat edits essays 02:01, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

not sarcasm either. -- Chris chat edits essays 18:46, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Level heads will prevail. I've been discussing this problem with administrators at WP:AN/I. They have blocked all but the most recent sock. I have put that sock up for blocking at WP:AIV as per their suggestion at AN/I. It should be as simple as asking for a block and marking that it's Pnatt as per obvious edits. No need to make a big deal of each one. Less attention brought to the vandalism, the more likely it will be to stop when there's no fanfare for him showing up each time. ju66l3r 16:59, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
