editHi Christin1000! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Leif Erikson several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Leif Erikson, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Your edit has been contested. WP:BRD does not mean that you get to keep restoring the edit and then start a talk page thread.. Meters (talk) 22:01, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Okay sorry about that. Christin1000 (talk) 23:00, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Leif Erikson. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Stop making this edit. You have been undone multiple times. We edit by consensus, and no-one has agreed with your edit on the article's talk page. Waiting a few days and then restoring your edit yet again (while incorrectly calling it a minor edit) is not going to work. Meters (talk) 00:15, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- Okay thanks for telling me. Christin1000 (talk) 00:16, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- That's pretty much what you said last time, but you still did it again. Meters (talk) 00:18, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Gondophares, you may be blocked from editing. You keep saying you won't restore contested edits, but you keep doing it. Meters (talk) 19:56, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
