Sentences of Lü Gengsong

edit

I've seen your recent contributions, probably you're very good at translating legal documents from Chinese to English? Have a look at zh:吕耿松's 2 documents! I have to say, verdicts and court rulings before is far more interesting than todays, for Ruan Xioahuan's case, none of his articles were cited or mentioned, but Lü's case is more dramatic.

I uploaded the 2 documents' originals to Wikimedia Commons yesterday, if you're interested, consider putting them to last line of you working process. Shinohara Chihiro (talk) 08:11, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I’m glad you are interested in this ‘mission of translation’. However, my main priority now is to establish a pattern or style guide for these translations which the translation of the judgement of Ruan Xiaohuan can be benefited from in further revisions. (Yes, the translation of Ruan’s judgement needs some revisions, and I am currently working on it.)
Moving on, I’ll try to upload and translate some recent-year judgements that share the similar bizarre absurdity that can be seen in the case of Ruan. It is the deterioration of the situations in the rule of law in mainland China that I would like to convey through translation; whether the judgement is interesting to read or not is not relevant.
But I encourage everyone to engage in this fascinating mission, and I do recommend that you may try to translate the judgements you are interested in. After all, I myself cannot translate them all, and collaboration is what we need ;) Chu Tse-tien (talk) 08:34, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I’m currently working on this page actually, which you might find it interesting to read. It’s not finished yet—far from it. Chu Tse-tien (talk) 08:38, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
This article is so...detailed. I'll read it all before trying translate them myself. Shinohara Chihiro (talk) 08:50, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
BTW, the translation of the judgement of Ruan Xiaohuan has been revised today ;) Chu Tse-tien (talk) 20:29, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
