Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Aye-aye, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Pallid beach mouse, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 22:08, 21 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sandwich and IUCN issues.

edit

Do not add stuff to extinction status that is not supported by IUCN sources, which is what we use. And do not needlessly mess up image layout that has passed WP:FAC. If you want to discuss these issues instead of edit-warring, there are talk pages to use. FunkMonk (talk) 22:16, 30 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I reverted your edit to Silphium. The image needs to stay with the text that relates to it. Placement on the left is preferable to having the image shifted all the way down into the next section, WP:SANDWICH notwithstanding. The image is small. WP:SANDWICH is about not putting wide images on both sides, making the space for text too narrow. That does not apply here.--Srleffler (talk) 04:25, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I concur that I don't agree with your image placement changes, they generally look worse on a 16:9 desktop view, and of course don't matter at all for mobile view. Hemiauchenia (talk) 21:52, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also note that "sandwiching" between the taxobox is almost never complained about even at WP:FAC, so it is really pointless and disruptive to drive-by edit all images into your preferred liking in articles you otherwise have nothing to contribute to. Just stop. FunkMonk (talk) 11:54, 5 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please note that Wikipedia does not link major geographical units such as United States, as you did in this edit: please stop making such links. Thanks. PamD 20:50, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thylacine is a featured article, meaning the quality of its content was voted and approved by the community as a whole. And you are making changes to the lead section, no less. Why change those words? It makes no sense. The current vocab is appropriate and the lead section is well written. No need for a change, unless there is something inaccurate there. Coltsfan (talk) 22:13, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good point, but I feel as if the edits I made give a bit more information than the previous vocabulary without detracting from its legibility. Chumzwumz68 (talk) 22:15, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Not quite. Most of the changes is just you, replacing one word for the another. And there is no need for excess internal links. Coltsfan (talk) 07:35, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
The word "extirpated" was not a good choice. I understand its usage in scientific publications, but in common English it suggests deliberate extermination. Not a suitable word in this case.--Srleffler (talk) 16:30, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited LA Knight, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Miz. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Improper synthesis, unreliable sources on CM Punk

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to CM Punk, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 14:20, 25 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

My apologies! I have struck the warning, as I was mistaken, and you were not responsible for adding the copyvio material. I did not look at your edit carefully enough to see that. This was totally my error. - Donald Albury 12:15, 20 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
