Mosh pit on the dance floor

Mosh pit rules applied to Wikipedia

  1. While our credo is to 'be bold', don't jump straight in. Observe what is going on and see how people are interacting before you get involved.
  2. Look out for each other. If there is a misunderstanding and someone falls, help them to get back up. You are here to have fun together.
  3. Start at the sides of the projects and work your way in for a more intense experience. Stay on the outside until you get your bearings. Then, when you are ready, venture further into the center to get really wild.
  4. Feel free to sit one out every few numbers: you don't have to be in the middle of the pit all the time.
  5. Never try and intentionally hurt someone. If you get hit by accident or intentionally do not retaliate.
  6. Remember, there are different levels of mosh pit experience. Sometimes we even get curious visitors from the karaoke bar across the street.
  7. Treat everyone with respect, and stay safe!

Inspired by Paulo Coelho Alves's Mosh pit rules applied to social media.
