Hi. Thank you for taking the time to get involved in the improvement of Mark Gerban's article. I've felt from early on that the entire "Discrimination & Inequality" section of that article is inherently non-neutral. Even if the section on the situation at Drexel in The Triangle were to be presented without a slant one way or the other, it's still something that doesn't really belong in the article. The entirety of the section on the Malta Boat Club focuses on accusations that were found to be unsubstantiated and so I also don't believe belong. Let me know your thoughts. --Mblumber (talk) 05:24, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

editHi Tariqabjotu,
You recently made a No violation determination for an edit war I posted about for Malta Boat Club. I understand that it is not a 3RR violation, but I am not sure how to proceed without violating the rule myself. Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. The entire issue can be viewed here in my attempt to contact the editor whose edits I found objectionable. Should I throw in the towel and allow the editor to obscure the club's connection to Mark Gerban or do I just continue to revert the edit until there is a bright-line rule violation?
Thanks,
Ciricula (talk) 16:37, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- Update: another editor reverted the problem edit here, but I still would appreciate direction on how to handle this when the content is deleted again. Ciricula (talk) 19:41, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know what you're worried about; you're not close to breaking the three-revert rule at all, and I'd hardly consider what you're doing now edit-warring. You tried to contact him on the talk page five days ago, and he hasn't responded. So, it's not like you've done anything wrong. It's just that there has been very little activity coming from this user, especially in recent hours. So, as with some other forms of disruption, there's nothing drastic enough happening here for me to see a reason to intervene, and there's certainly no 3RR/edit-warring violation. -- tariqabjotu 00:53, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- You are probably right that I am worrying about nothing. I guess I wasn't looking for administrator intervention as much as some guidance on how to handle unjustified and repetitive (yet slow) edits. I will continue to revert the edit, and I won't bug you unless thing escalate. Ciricula (talk) 19:15, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

editNice one [1]. Motmit (talk) 18:35, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks -- I made some more changes to the navbox and was thinking about the use of the term "fine boats." Is that term for racing shells fairly ubiquitous on your side of the pond? I never hear it thrown about in the US, and I am wondering if "racing shell" should be used if it is the more internationally recognizable term. What do you think? Ciricula (talk) 22:22, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- It is probably a bit obscure but where we race with traditional boats it is helpful to have a term to differentiate the main sport. Maybe worth bouncing off David Biddulph. We don't race wherries now although historically I suppose they were raced. We also have children racing in dinghies if thats worth including. Regards Motmit (talk) 22:54, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hello David Biddulph, Any thoughts on the above conversation? Should Wherry, Dinghy, Gig, or other historical racing boats be included in the Oar Racing Boats navbox? How do you feel about using the term "racing shell" as opposed to "fine boat" for the navbox sections? Ciricula (talk) 23:43, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Schuylkill Navy Page
editHey Circula, I saw that you did most of the heavy lifting on the Schuylkill Navy page. I am currently working on the page with a couple of my Cornell University classmates for our Online Communities class. Would you mind taking a look at what we have put up over the next couple days to make sure we are on the right track. Eddie and I, Andrew, row at Cornell, Eddie is a lightweight and I am a heavyweight. I rowed on Boathouse Row for 4 years in high school at The Shipley School, so we would love to get connected with someone else who is passionate about the sport.
Fairmount Rowing Club Image
editDear Ciricula,
I am editing the Schuylkill Navy Wikipedia Page for a class project. I would like to add more images of all the boathouses to the page, and I saw that you posted the Fairmount image. Would you be able to help me post the Fairmount image to the Schuylkill page? Thank you so mucH! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyp25 (talk • contribs) 16:27, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
