About Anastasiia Salos

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Anastasiia Salos a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. –MJLTalk 23:52, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Vlada Nikolchenko, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Queen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Russian conductors and singers

edit

I wonder why you remove links to Russian conductors and opera singers? I gave an example in Queen of Spades how to code an interlanguage link when they have an entry in the Russian Wikipedia, and the first conductor of such a work deserves an article in English, even if nothing yet in Russian. It's standard for project opera to link in case of doubt. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:19, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Translation request for Korean Wikipedia: WiTricity (와이트리시티)

edit

Hello! On behalf of WiTricity and as part of my work at Beutler Ink, I've shared a draft entry for Korean Wikipedia, which is a translated version of the English Wikipedia article. I'm searching for an editor who speaks Korean and is willing to review this draft and update the entry appropriately. Might you be willing to take a look? Thanks for your consideration. Translation

edit

Hello! Strange request here, but an article about me and my Wikipedia work has been promoted to Good article status at English Wikipedia and nominated for similar status at Spanish Wikipedia. I'm curious if you have any interest in translating the entry for Korean Wikipedia or other projects?

Figured I'd ask since your profile suggests you do translation work. Either way, happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:01, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
