Notability
editWikiepdia is an encyclopedia, not a listing directory like LinkedIn, and is selective about subjects for articles. The criterion is called notability, and is not a matter of opinion but must be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have other people, independent of the subject, found it important and significant enough to write about? There is more detail in WP:Notability (people). Only one account
editIf you are the same person as Raja.cj (talk · contribs), please choose one account and stick to it, to avoid any suspicion of WP:Sockpuppetry. JohnCD (talk) 20:46, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

editPlease do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Raja Liaqat Ali, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Invitrovanitas (talk) 15:19, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Repost of Raja Liaqat Ali
editA tag has been placed on Raja Liaqat Ali requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hang on}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Invitrovanitas (talk) 15:21, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Raja Liaqat Ali, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. When a discussion has taken place and resulted in a consensus to delete, it is not acceptable for one editor to decide unilaterally to overturn that decision by recreating the article. You used the {{helpme}} tag but did not ask a question. Please write out your question and replace the {{helpme}} tag when you are done, and someone will be along to help. Alternatively, you can ask your question at the new contributors help desk, the help desk, or join the #wikipedia-en-help IRC help channel to get real-time assistance. Blocked
editI have blocked you for disruptive editing, for multiple re-creation of a deleted article. I see that you have also created the article in user space, as User:Cj.Raja/Raja Liaqat Ali. This is permissible, if the intent is to develop this into a complete article. Please work there, and once you have addressed the issue of notability, you can bring up the issue at WP:Deletion review. But please do not re-create the same article again in main space, or you will be blocked for a longer period of time. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 20:57, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
