Science Fiction
editAugust 25, 2019: Science Fiction
editScience Fiction comes in many different forms including novels, short stories, fan fiction, tv shows, and movies. It uses fiction scenarios and advanced scientific developments to create a sense of wonder in the person reading or watching. Science Fiction can oftentimes make one think of how Earth and/or society could be, which is not always a good thing, if society was more technologically advanced. The Netflix series, Black Mirror, highlights flaws in our current society with an added dose of technological advances. By adding the futuristic aspects, it creates a safe place to criticize current social problems or shows the dangers of certain advances.
