While adult learners have different course options available(online, night, independent learning etc.) there are some who are not able to carry a full course load using these nontraditional course options, especially at the undergraduate level.

Below are resources that attest to this issue, give personal insight and recommend institutional changes that can be made to better accommodate these learners.
