@Eagleash: Hello, I'm still getting used to Wikipedia so learning how to reply using talk, so hope I'm doing this correctly. Thank you for your comment and for reviewing my article on Richard Small (Lawyer). I am not related to him, i used 'my brother' in error copying and pasting from an interview I conducted, where he is talking about his brother. I have edited this out, and then noticed you had said not to edit until messaging here. I hope this clarifies the situation, and that the article can be approved for publication. Thanks very much.

Hello; OK, thanks for responding. It may seem pedantic but Wikipedia takes things like conflict of interest and copyright issues rather seriously. BTW, I did not get your 'ping' as the post was not signed. You need to add the ping, the message and the signature all in one edit or it doesn't work! You can sign your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce a timestamp and a signature. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 00:28, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I have partially reviewed and copy-edited the draft in respect of Richard Small. There were some anomalies in the content which gave the impression there may be a conflict of interest. Please review that linked page and make any necessary declarations. The use of the term 'my older brother' suggests a conflict of interest (personal knowledge of the subject) but 'I became' later on suggests it may be a mistaken re-write from a source. Whatever the situation please reply here to clarify before editing the page further. Please begin your reply with {{ping|Eagleash}} which will notify me of your response. Thank you. Please bear in mind that raising the question of a COI is not intended as a reflection upon an individual editor, but is just one of the ways in which Wikipedia tries to ensure neutrality. Happy editing. Eagleash (talk) 12:52, 22 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
